A surprise 70th birthday party

   What a day...thank G-d my arm is much better and I hope will continue to improve so we can find out what the cause of the pain is.  So the kids wanted to go out to dinner..with all of them in town you would think that I might have a bit of an inkling as to what was going on...but I really didn't have a clue...and it was such a surprise...they had friends of  mine (ours) from all walks of my life...It was at this beautiful village hall on the third floor overlooking the Port Jefferson Harbour...and the sunset was incredible...the food fabulous, and they did a slide show that was so wonderful....it was joyous just to be able to show them and the grand kids off to all my friends....we all had a great time...but when they brought out the cake...and I looked at it and it said Happy 70th birthday...I thought how was that possible...I guess that's what they mean when they say enjoy your children while they are young, don't wish your life away,...time flies...because the video presentation showed all those years and was over in 18 minutes or so...so many memories in pictures...but weren't most of them just a while ago...thank G-d hurt arm and all...I still feel young...but now I am really going to enjoy being 70...every day...for all those years led up to this one and I want to make more wonderful memories to share.
